Those who have excellent mobility and have some good racquet skills can, after successfully completing this course, usually play as a 2.5 rated pickleball player. This is not a guarantee, but you will be on the right track in playing competitive pickleball immediately after this clinic.
This clinic includes a basic paddle to keep and take home, allowing you to practice some drills at home for further improvement and allowing you more time to decide what paddle to buy next.
The clinic fee also includes a “Competitive CTPA Membership” to the end of 2018. And dedicated time to continue to practice and play during CTPA dedicated times and with other players matched to your level.
Those who meet to 2.5 rating qualification after the clinic will receive a stamp on their membership. Those who do not meet this level will obtain their membership card but will need to further improve their skills and will have to attend a future rating clinic to get their official rating.
