Kids cooking classes come to Cranberry

Learn to Cook

We're offering a series of classes for kids, to help them develop a love for cooking and healthy eating.

Starting at 10:30 on Saturday mornings,  single-session 90-minute cooking classes based on the MyPlate curriculum for kids ages 5 through 13 will be offered in the Municipal Center.  Classes focus on the preparation of school-style lunches in three popular styles:  Italian, April 22; and Mexican, May 13.

Baker’s Dozen Academy, a North Hills after-school baking program for kids run by culinary artists Debbie Dee and Teri Koms, will  offer a two-hour class also in the Municipal Center for kids age 5 through 12 to prepare Mother’s Day gifts, May 6.  Registration is separate for each individual class.

Registration for all programs is available in person at the Municipal Center Parks & Recreation Information Desk, or online.
