Fun Fore All won’t have to build an acoustic wall after all

A fallen sound barrier separating the go-cart area of Fun Fore All amusement park from its next-door neighbor will not be rebuilt following a study of sound levels along the facility’s Rt. 19 frontage. At its August 31 meeting, Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors approved an application from Fun Fore All’s management to rescind the park’s original 1995 conditional use agreement that required the wall. A new study found that noise from Rt. 19 traffic was significantly louder than the go-carts. As a result, no new wall will be needed along its northern property line. The original wall at the same location had been toppled by a storm in April.
