Water supplier changes disinfectant

Free chlorine is a stronger and faster-acting disinfectant. Customers may notice a slight difference in the taste and odor of their drinking water while chlorine is in use.

Customers who use tap water for kidney dialysis at home should consult with their doctor to determine if any changes are necessary in their residual disinfectant neutralization procedures.

Customers using the water for aquariums should monitor both free and combined chlorine residuals. The change will last through early June.
