    May 12, 2018, 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM @ Venango Trail / Fitness Center

You will still sculpt and strengthen your entire body by using low weight (not super low, but lower than an Olympic weight lifter!!) and high repetitions. The class is choreographed to great music and with great instructors inspiring you, you can’t go wrong! Participants may use a barbell, dumbbells or no weight at all. All fitness levels will be accommodated! This has been proven to be one of the quickest ways to get in shape. New students may want to check out the Group Barbell Elements class. Everyone who is 40 plus needs to lift weights. Why? It increases lean muscle mass, increases bone mineral density, increases metabolism, burns fat and so much more. Remember, as you age, you lose muscle mass, increase fat mass, your bones get brittle. Who needs that?

    May 12, 2018, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Gymnasium

This is an advanced class for those who can land 95% or more of their serves and returns along with having a consistent third shot. Instructor James LaRosa, a 4.5 Tournament Player, leads this class. “This will be a Strategies & Tactics class adapted for players rated 2.5, 3.0, or 3.5. James developed a whole new agenda to help people improve their games. That includes foot positioning and movement from one spot to another. While touch and stroke remains very important to pickleball, many players can improve by understanding the game’s strategy. Pickleball is less about making winning shots than it is about avoiding mistakes. Participants will learn how to measure mistakes and how to avoid making them, as well as the importance of the soft game. Non- CTPA members will qualify for a $25 credit to use for a Social or Competitive CTPA membership. Ages 18+.
