Riding bikes can be fun for kids as well as for adults. But it can also be dangerous. Our 4th annual Bike Safety Rodeo will be held on the Kids Castle Playground parking lot in Community Park between 10A - 2P, rain or shine. Police officers will provide free bike inspections, helmet fitting, and information about the statutes that apply to bicycle use in Cranberry.
This year’s event will include guidance affecting the users of electric and non-electric scooters as well as hoverboards, in addition to riders of conventional bikes.
The Rodeo is sponsored by Cranberry Elks, and AAA East Central, along with the Cranberry Township police and EMS. Everyone participating in the Rodeo is required to bring their own bicycle and to wear a helmet. Free refreshments, giveaways and prizes will be offered.
