- Junior Lessons & Clinics
It’s never too early to take a swing. Junior Clinics are designed to introduce youngsters to the fundamentals and rules of golf, as well as course etiquette and safety.
The PGA has formed a Junior League to transform learning and playing golf into a team activity for friends and family. This year, Cranberry Highlands will host the program for children 16 and under at all levels of proficiency – including those new to the sport. However, every participant should have access to their own set of golf clubs.
The PGA describes the Jr. League as the flagship youth program of its diversity/inclusion project, PGA Reach. It is designed to make golf accessible to interested kids throughout the United States and around the world.
Children in the program will get expert coaching from Cranberry Highlands PGA Professionals, along with organized team practice sessions and regular matches. Players will wear customizable numbered jerseys and compete on teams in a two-person scramble format that encourages mentorship and builds confidence. The season includes 4 to 6 matches, and all participants get to play in every competition.
