Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, the Cranberry Public Library, along with Cranberry Township, has been monitoring recommendations from the Department of Health and Education, as well as CDC guidelines to determine safety protocols for Cranberry Public Library.
Due to the recent guidance from the CDC and in accordance with township protocols, masks are now optional during all library sponsored programs and storytimes. Those wishing to wear masks may continue to do so. All library sponsored programs are listed on our events calendar.
The Library and Township continue to monitor both state and local guidance and request understanding that protocols and expectations could change. Changes will be communicated via the Library’s website.
Dream, design, collaborate and create at the Cranberry Library Forge
Thanks to generous donors and CTCC, The Forge is ready to open its doors. Similar to makerspaces in our schools, our space features a laser engraver, 3-D printers, computer-controlled cutting machines, an embroidery sewing machine, electronics and a variety of specialized hand tools for crafting.
Library patrons are welcome to register for classes. After demonstrating mastery of the equipment, they will be able to design and create their own projects. Experience isn’t required! We’ll teach you to use the equipment. The makerspace will offer a safe, creative space to learn, create, explore and come together with other makers.
You can support our Makerspace and make our wishes come true!
