About the Artists
Debra Zuzindlak Tobin - Debra's art includes photography, drawing and painting, weaving, jewelry design and sculpture. Vibrant color, textures and dramatic shadows and light are a favorite focus in her work. Debra's Cranberry Artists Network glass case display in June will display a sampling of her fiber art body of work. She is the Manager of Media, Events & Website for the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, and she and her husband James are co-owners of Tobin Studios in Ambridge, Pennsylvania.
Monica Jarold Hietsch is a designer, photographer and oil painter. Monica first visualizes through her camera lens. Next, she picks the perfect shot that tells a story, maybe not a perfect photograph but it can be created into the perfect painting. She is inspired by the architecture of the city and awesome engineering of bridges. Streets lined with houses that are interpreted as more than bricks but somebody’s home and their family history. A current collection of oil paintings titled “This Day and Age of Steel” will be featured along with a few past works in the Back Hall Gallery. She is also a featured artist at the fabulous Firebox Art Studios in Carnegie, PA.
