At the end of April, the American Heart Association honored Cranberry’s Emergency Medical Service with its Mission Lifeline EMS Performance Achievement Award. The award recognizes the critical difference that effective EMS intervention can make for patients suffering heart attacks. It is based on criteria that include identification of heart attack symptoms, access to high-performance diagnostic devices, and length of time before the patient arrives for treatment. The Cranberry organization is one of 447 agencies nationwide to have been awarded that recognition.
