Cranberry’s zoning law, which limits businesses that sell, rent or service vehicles to locating on major highways, has been changed. At its June 4 meeting, Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors amended the Township’s zoning ordinance to allow businesses which deal in motor vehicles as an accessory or secondary business, to operate on certain non-residential roads in the Township where commercial zoning applies. The revision allows vehicle-related businesses to operate any place other than on a residential street, as long as it secures a permit through the Conditional Use approval process.
