The Township’s final budget for 2016 was approved by a resolution of Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors at its December 10 meeting. The budget document, which was tentatively approved November 19 and given a 20-day public review period prior to the Board’s final action, anticipates expenditures of $19.5 million from its General Fund and another $38.3 million from its various capital funds. The General Fund finances core services of the Township such as public works, public safety, recreation, code enforcement and administration. Its various enterprise and capital funds include sewer and water-related expenses, solid waste collection, street paving, Cranberry Highlands, the Waterpark and more.
