Developer Dominic Gigliotti, whose business properties are scattered throughout the North Hills, is donating a 15.5 acre parcel of land to Cranberry Township. The lot, which is topographically challenging to build on, is immediately adjacent to the Township’s Public Works Operations Center. Once the associated title search and environmental impact evaluations are complete, the Township’s Board of Supervisors will officially accept the gift. Final approval to subdivide Gigliotti’s 22-acre property to create the 15,5 acre parcel was granted at the Board’s September 6 meeting. Closing is expected on the transfer October 31. The Township has not announced plans for developing the properties.
