  1. Cardio/Strength PreHab/ReHab - 9:00 AM

    September 1, 2020, 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM @ Venango Trail / Fitness Center

    Do you have knee pain and aren't sure why? Or maybe you feel like you have imbalances or instability in your body? This is your chance to figure it out. Cardio will be walking (forward, backward, sideways. lunges) - if you are perfectly fine, great - you can go for it and even run if you feel like it OR use it as a chance to prehab before it turns into rehab! The rest of us are going to be working on the way we are doing moving our bodies - how can we move better? Don't wait to tune in to the way your body works - take action now! The strength moves will not be your regular strength moves - we will be working on hip mobility, knee stability and ankle mobility. Yoga stretches will finish out the class. Bring a mat, and weights and a loop band if you have them. We have extra that can be disinfected before and after class. You can purchase your own loop band in the office.   2. Gentle Yoga - 6:30 PM

    This class is appropriate for all students seeking the benefits of a very relaxing, gentle, and nourishing practice. The combination of gentle Hatha and deep restorative work improves range of motion and joint mobility while reducing pain and the effects of stress. Students with injuries, arthritis, or other chronic conditions are welcome in these classes. Practitioners with limitations related to age or size as well as students with a more vigorous yoga practice will benefit from this practice. No prior yoga experience required. Please bring a mat, a blanket and blocks if you have them. 18+ (14-17 with paid parent/caregiver) Wear a mask into the building but not required to exercise. Space limited. Location: Grange Hall (senior center) Instructor: Dana Stelitano
