Members of the Cranberry Township Police Department will swap their police uniforms for hockey sweaters to raise money for a championship community organization. Cranberry’s officers will compete against officers from Pittsburgh and Adams Township police departments. Raffles will also be held. Proceeds from the event benefit the Mighty Penguins Sled Hockey, an organization that gives the opportunity for disabled adults and children to experience the adapted sport of sled hockey. Learn the challenges of responsible and safe babysitting in this program! This course is designed for participants ages 11-15 interested in becoming a certified babysitter. The course is fun and fast-paced with hands-on activities, DVD segments and role-plays. It teaches young people how to care for children and infants, be good leaders and role models, make good decisions, solve problems and stay safe. All courses include a Safe Sitter Kit which comes with a Safe Sitter Student Handbook, Completion Card, Important Numbers Notepad, Bandage Dispenser, LED Flashlight and a Drawstring Bag.
