Car - Teal

Older Driver Safety Awareness Week is December 2-6, and several resources are available for those looking for helpful tips for staying safe.

Information can be found via these links:

Drivers can attend a CarFit Virtual Workshop on Zoom. This 90-minute workshop is free and takes an in-depth look at several key aspects involved in getting a proper fit in their vehicle.

Need help having a tough conversation about safe driving? Attend a free, 60-minute We Need to Talk Virtual Seminar on Zoom. Led by a We Need to Talk facilitator and developed by AARP based on research from The Hartford and MIT AgeLab, the session gives families and caregivers tips on assessing a loved one’s driving skills objectively, planning conversations about safe driving, and exploring transportation options for when it’s time to limit or stop driving.
