Seniors in Cranberry can get a refresher in using fire extinguishers as well as a brand-new extinguisher thanks to the Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company.
The giveaways are set for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, September 13; Thursday, September 16; Monday, September 20; and Thursday, September 23 in the Brush Creek room at the Municipal Center. They are open to Cranberry Township residents ages 65 or older.
Seniors will receive fire extinguisher training in the rear parking lot and then go to Brush Creek room to receive their extinguisher. They will also receive a certificate of training when finished.
