Director - Utilities Department

The Director plays an integral role in guaranteeing various utility services are provided to Township residents and businesses in a manner that supports and promotes public health and public safety.

The Utilities Director guides strategic and long-term planning for the Township’s public utilities operations and services. The position requires extensive expertise and knowledge of water treatment and distribution, wastewater treatment and collection, and residential and commercial waste removal services. This Director is responsible for leading a team of both bargaining unit and non-bargaining unit employees and requires an individual who will support and motivate staff and promote the development and growth of others

Entry Level Utility Worker – Sewer & Water Field Operations

This role is essential to maintaining the systems that keep our community running smoothly, including the wastewater collection and water distribution systems. 

The ideal candidate will serve as a helpful point of contact for residents and business owners while receiving hands-on training in: 

  • GIS mapping
  • Valve and hydrant operation & maintenance
  • Manhole and pipeline assessment
  • Sewer televising and field investigations
  • Installation and repair of sewer and water systems
  • Operation of gas monitors, portable tech, and vacuum/jet trucks.

Finance Specialist, Payroll, Finance Department

In this full-time role, you’ll support strong fiscal management and ensure accurate, timely payroll processes for Township employees. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Processing payroll and maintaining timekeeping records
  • Reviewing employee timesheets
  • Assisting staff with payroll questions and concerns 
  • Preparing quarterly and year-end reports
  • Completing payroll tax filings, W-2s, and related documentation
