IDEA Team
Cranberry Township is home to dozens of international companies, employing thousands of people from the local area and beyond. Many of our businesses attract customers, potential clients, and visitors worldwide. Today, the businesses in Cranberry Township employ over 25,000 people.
In response to this growth, the Cranberry Township Sister Cities Association and WIN (Welcoming International Neighbors) were founded in 2010 with the support of Westinghouse and its newly relocated headquarters. As the diversity of our business community grew, so did the need for efforts to welcome their employees, customers, and visitors. These efforts ultimately created the Cranberry Area Diversity Network (CADN) in 2014 to foster a welcoming community for individuals from all cultures and backgrounds. In 2022, CADN rebranded itself to the IDEA Team as part of a plan update with the same goals to further strengthen the commitment to welcome all community members.
