Notice is hereby given that the Cranberry Township Board of Supervisors, Butler County, 2525 Rochester Road, Suite 400, Cranberry Township, PA 16066-6499, will accept sealed bids for the following contract:

Contract No. 21-07 - Brush Creek Water Pollution Control Facility - Headworks Building - Roof

Provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision necessary for the restoration of the concrete roof at the Headworks Building, as more clearly specified in the Contract Documents.  

Bidding documents are available at no cost on PennBid  Proposal shall be submitted upon forms provided by the Township.

Bids will be received electronically via the PennBid Program until 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 24, 2021, at which time the bids will be opened, with the results made available on PennBid.  Bids submitted directly to Cranberry Township will be invalid and considered non-responsive.

There will be a non-mandatory Pre-Bid meeting on Friday, May 14, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Brush Creek Water Pollution Control Facility located at 2306 Powell Road, Cranberry Township, Butler County.  Attendance at the Pre-Bid is strongly recommended as there may not be another opportunity to visit the site.

Questions regarding this bid shall be submitted via the “Clarifications” feature within PennBid.

All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of One-Thousand Dollars ($1,000) payable to Cranberry Township.

All bids shall remain irrevocable for 60 days after the actual date of the opening in compliance with Act 317 of 1978 approved November 26, 1978.

The estimated cost of this Project is greater than Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) and the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act shall apply.

The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any defects or irregularities in the best interest of the Township.
