Bruce Mazzoni was chosen by his fellow Supervisors to chair Cranberry’s five-member Board of Supervisors at their January 6 organizational meeting; Mike Manipole was selected as the Board’s Vice Chairman. Both men had held those same posts during 2013. The Board also re-appointed Jerry Andree as Township Manager – his 23rd year in that position. Other selections included the re-appointment of Campbell, Durrant, Beatty, Palumbo and Miller, P.C. as Township Solicitor; H. A. Berkheimer Associates as collectors of local services tax, earned income tax, mercantile tax and business privilege tax; and the re-appointment of Cranberry’s sewage enforcement officers and their alternates. New and re-appointed members of various independent Township boards and councils were also named. PNC Bank and the Pennsylvania Local Government Investment Trust were designated as depositories of Township funds, and a calendar of Board’s meeting dates for 2014 was approved.
