Play time will be available well into the evening hours on Cranberry’s newly constructed dek hockey rink in Graham Park, jointly financed by Highmark and the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation. At its September 4 meeting, Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors authorized the installation of lighting at the new facility, which is scheduled to have its official grand opening this fall. The lighting system, which will be particularly useful during cold weather months when daylight hours are shortest, is projected to cost $64,000.
