Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors has accepted the findings of a traffic impact study at the intersection Rt. 19, Glen Eden and North Boundary roads. PennDOT required the Township to approve the study’s results before it could authorize construction of a proposed traffic roundabout on North Boundary Road. Construction of the roundabout is a component of the traffic circulation plan proposed by Dominic Gigliotti for his Marketplace Development, which will eventually include properties on both the southeast and northwest corners of the intersection. Accepting the study’s results allows the project to advance without creating another signalized intersection on North Boundary, only a short distance away from its already-signalized intersection with Rt. 19.
