Approximately $507,000 in unspent funds from the Township’s 2014 budget has been reassigned to cover unforeseen needs before the end of the current fiscal year, December 31. The largest of these line items was the result of unanticipated spending due to the exceptionally high volume of road salt and anti-skid material required last winter. At their December 11 meeting, Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors approved a resolution authorizing the supplemental appropriations from the Township’s undesignated General Fund balance.
