Peterson Cartridge, which produces the brass casings used in the manufacture of ammunition for firearms, will locate its operation in part of a newly constructed flex-space building on the east side of Commonwealth Drive in Thorn Hill Industrial Park. At its April 2 meeting, Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors approved the company’s application for Conditional Use, which anticipates sharing space with a sister company, Corry Micronics, which has already leased space in the building. As part of its plan, the company intends to build a concrete-encased interior testing range to validate its production quality.
