Family-owned R. E. Michel Company is a wholesale distributor of refrigeration and HVAC equipment, parts and supplies to professional contractors. It has operated in Cranberry Township for years. Founded in Baltimore 81 years ago, the company’s warehouse on Leonberg Road is also one of its 270 sales locations in North America. At their December 15 meeting, Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors approved the company’s conditional use application to build an 11,000 square foot expansion onto the Cranberry facility at its 2.87-acre site in the Leonberg Industrial Park.
