Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors has adopted a budget for 2017. It is the largest in the Township’s history, primarily due to the cost of upgrading its Brush Creek wastewater treatment plant, projected at $27.6 million during the year. The budget, which consists of a $22.1 million General Fund for core municipal functions, $31.4 million in capital expenditures, and $28 million in operating and maintenance costs, is fully offset by income from taxes, user fees, grants and other sources.
