Cranberry has a number of special-purpose boards to independently advise Township staff and Supervisors on a variety of matters. Placements on those boards, commissions and agencies are made by the Board of Supervisors for terms that range from one to four years. Members are selected from local residents who have expressed an interest in advancing the work of their municipal government. At its January 7 meeting, the Board named Sally Jack to a three-year term on the Building/Fire Codes Board of Appeals; James Colella and John Morgan were named to four-year terms on the Planning Advisory Commission; Glen Geisel was reappointed to a five-year term on the Zoning Hearing Board; and Ed Sarver was reappointed to a one-year term on the Vacancy Board.
