The Regency Apartments at Rolling Road and Thorn Hill Drive Extension which opened in 2006 with 50 living units and a long waiting list of interested tenants presented its plans for expansion to 80 units at the January 27 Board of Supervisors meeting. The 19,500 square foot addition, which would mirror the architecture of the current building, will be extended from its southern side and taper into a nearby hillside. Parking at the apartment building would be expanded to 80 spaces and amenities including new landscaping and sidewalks would be added. The Board agreed to consider adopting the proposed project at its February 3 meeting.
