The Township’s focus on improving the Glen Eden Watershed is moving forward.
With ground set to be broken on the first phase of the Glen Eden Watershed Stream Restoration Project, the Board of Supervisors on March 7 voted to bid Phase 2 of the work.
As part of ongoing efforts to improve waterways in the Township, this project addresses the common areas of the residential developments known as Cedarbrook, Manor Creek Farms, Glenbrook Manor, and Settlers Grove.
The proposed stream restoration will satisfy Municipal Separated Storm Sewer System (MS4) requirements and Pennsylvania DEP standards. Additionally, the project will enhance the aesthetic qualities of the stream and provide for better long-term maintenance of the Township’s environmental resources.
