Cranberry Township’s government never stops working for the residents and businesses in the community. Through the Community Leadership Institute of Cranberry, residents can see what goes on behind the scenes to make that work happen.
The Community Leadership Institute of Cranberry is a multi-week program that fosters community engagement, growth, and understanding by offering an in-depth look at how local government works to improve the quality of life for Township residents.
Presented by the Cranberry Township Community Chest, the Institute educates and encourages graduates to be integral to the community through enlightened leadership abilities.
Full-time residents are eligible for the program. Sessions are 90 minutes each and include topics such as government, infrastructure, public safety, utilities, communications, information technology, and parks and recreation. Participants will be honored for completing the course at a Board of Supervisors meeting.
