A project to repair the fuel island that powers the Township’s fleet is moving forward.
At the December 12 meeting, the Board of Supervisors approved an agreement with Nexus Energy Service LLC for design and bid documents for the Public Works Fuel Island and Dispenser Upgrade project.
The existing canopy is starting to rust, and the bases, columns, and overhead structure need attention to ensure safety. The canopy will be rebuilt, and previously purchased dispensers, nozzles, hoses, and keypads will be installed.
The documents will be used to submit for building code approval and publicly bid the project.
