A proposal to revise the developer’s plan to build 323 houses, townhomes and apartment units on the former Davis farm along Glen Eden Road in two rather than three phases would also replace the original plan for a 400 foot dedicated bikeway along Freshcorn Road with a bicycle RoadShare program which would extend approximately three miles along Heights Drive, Freshcorn, and Powell Roads between Rt. 19 and the Turnpike. The proposed change, which was presented to Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors on September 6, would be integral with the Township’s adopted Bicycle-Pedestrian Network Plan. Following a September 26 hearing on the revised application, the Board voted to place the revisions up for final consideration on October 3.
