The ten-screen Cranberry Mall movie theatre will become a twelve-screen cinema, according to plans approved by Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors on October 3. The theater’s expansion would include space in the lower Cranberry Mall space currently holding two vacant storefronts, immediately north of the current theatre building, along with some of the associated parking area. As a condition of their approval, the theatre owners agreed to finance a sidewalk and related pedestrian amenities along Freedom Road where it currently runs alongside the Mall.
