USX Federal Credit Union, which has operated from an office smaller than 2,000 square foot in a multi-tenant commercial building just east of Chick-fil-A for several years, is feeling a bit squeezed. So it is planning to move, but not very far. At a public hearing on October 30, Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors heard the financial institution’s application for conditional use of its proposed new 2,400 square foot space, also located at 1694 Route 228, but with its ATM on the south side, rather than north side of the building. Board action on the application is expected November 7. For more information, contact Cranberry Community Development Director Ron Henshaw at firstname.lastname@example.org.
