Cranberry Township is working with New Castle Transit to ready 75 commuter parking spaces at North Boundary Park for use beginning Monday, December 16, Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors learned at their December 11 meeting. The park entrance is on North Boundary Road, about a mile east of Rt. 19.
The need for parking became critical with the temporary closure of a Park ‘n Ride lot at Rt. 528 and I-79. An expanded replacement facility is expected to be completed by May. In the interim, commuters will be able to use the designated spaces at North Boundary Park as an alternative.
