An application for the construction two new flex/office buildings on 15 acres in the Cranberry Business Park was approved following a public hearing before Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors on January 30. According to Chaska Property Advisers, the lead partner in developing Cranberry Business Park, the new space would be built on speculation rather than according to the terms of a particular tenant lease. The 180-acre business park, on Unionville Road, is currently home to nearly 3,000 employees who work for an assortment of tenants including Coventry Health Care, Tollgrade Communications, the International Plastics Equipment Group, Sage Software, and Fidelity Information Group. The new buildings would absorb all but one small part of the remaining developable land in the business park.
