Cranberry Township Police are investigating damage done to Graham Park over the weekend. Sometime between Friday, March 14 and Monday, March 17, 2014, an unknown person or persons did extensive damage to Graham Park. Graham Park, which is located off of Rochester Road, is home to the Dick’s Sporting Goods Sportsplex and the Miracle League of Southwestern Pennsylvania.
Damage was done to lighting in the park and downspouts on several buildings, as well as in one of the public restrooms. Numerous items were thrown into the fishing pond at the Scout Centennial Plaza. Lighting around several of the flag posts were damaged and several American flags were stolen. A Boy Scouts of America flag and a Girl Scouts of America flag were also stolen.
Crews are working to make repairs and determine the extent of damage. At this time, it is estimated that the value of the damage will exceed $10,000.
