Butler County has applied for approval from the Township’s Board of Supervisors to build a new 7,800 square foot office for Cranberry’s Magisterial District Judge along Marshall Road. The office is currently located in rented space along Executive Drive. The new .62 acre site, which is a long narrow parcel situated between two properties south of Leonburg Road, is in the SP-1 commercial zoning district. Having its own separate facility will enable the county to exercise better control surrounding its judicial office. The proposed brick structure would have a residential look with a small parking lot in front. The Board will consider approval of the land development application at its April 1 meeting.
