A staff report requested by Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors on the disposition of a Township-owned finger of land extending from near the Community Park tennis courts to Rt. 19, approximately 100 feet south of the highway’s intersection with Ernie Mashuda Drive, has recommended that the land be offered for private development. The property, which includes less than an acre and is currently undeveloped, is zoned for Transitional Industrial Use. It is next to the office of the Cranberry Eagle, which is one of two owners of adjacent property who have, in the past, expressed interest in acquiring the land for development projects. At its April 1 meeting, the Board authorized the Township Manager to solicit sealed bids for purchase of the property.
