An Alcoa Foundation donation of funds to purchase 15 bicycle racks for installation in Graham, North Boundary and Community Parks, as well as in front of the Cranberry Township Community Center and its Skatepark, was acknowledged with appreciation by Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors at its April 24 meeting. Jason Hillwig, Traco’s controller, accepted the Board’s thanks on the company’s behalf. Bicycle racks, together with a growing network of bicycle paths and share-road lanes, are key elements of Cranberry’s Bicycle and Pedestrian Connections Plan. CycleCT is the implementation component of the plan’s bicycle component. For more information, contact Cranberry Township Community Planner Joe Shafer at joe.shafer@cranberrytownship.org.
