Red Rock development partnership has received approval to consolidate three parcels of property along Mars Road, slightly to the west of I-79. The combined lot, totaling 2.4 acres, will provide space for the construction of a new tourist class hotel. A variance enabling the project to move forward on the site had previously been granted by the Township’s Zoning Hearing Board. As part of that variance, Red Rock needed to provide right-of-way to accommodate a long-planned public road which will eventually parallel Dutilh Road. At their May 1 meeting, Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors approved the developers’ application for preliminary and final subdivision approval to connect the properties.
