Cranberry’s Community Waterpark in North Boundary Park will undergo a series of renovations following the conclusion of its 18th season on Labor Day this year. At its June 5 meeting, Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors authorized bidding for the project, whose estimated cost is $1.6 million. Renovations are to include structural repairs, new pool floor and wall coatings, upgrades and additions to the filter systems, and a separation and enlargement of the zero-depth entry area pool favored by families with small children.
A contract award recommendation will be made at the Board meeting on Thursday, August 7. For more information, contact the Township's Director of Parks and Recreation, Pete Geis, at Pete.Geis@Cranberrytownship.org
