It took a while – including two unsuccessful public auctions. But Cranberry has finally found a buyer for its oldest working vehicle, a 35-year old Mack dump truck. At its July 31 meeting, Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors approved the sale of the truck to Vince Trembetta of Conway, PA for $7,500. When advertised sales fail to attract buyers, state code allows Townships to negotiate the best price directly with potential buyers, providing they have the approval of their governing boards.
