At its October 30 meeting, Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors accepted testimony on Manheim Pittsburgh Auto Auction’s plans to erect a new 6,117 square foot, open-sided structure on the facility’s current Rt. 19 site. The structure would be used to temporarily house arriving vehicles as they are being prepared for inspection. Both entrances to the site from Rt. 19 would be enhanced with new tree and shrubbery plantings. Participation in auto auction sales is restricted to trade professionals licensed by Pennsylvania or other states. The Board will consider final action on Manheim Pittsburgh’s conditional use application at its November 6 meeting.
