At some point in the future, developer Gary Sippel expects to see five full-service restaurants operating in his Cranberry Springs development at the corner of I-79 and Rt. 228. To prepare for that eventuality, he has been buying liquor licenses from other licensees in Butler County. Earlier this year, Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors approved the transfer of two recently acquired liquor licenses to several not-as-yet named restaurants at Cranberry Springs. At their October 30 meeting, the Board approved the transfer of two more – one from the City of Butler, the other from Lyndora.
