Seneca Valley Lacrosse, currently playing on Township athletic fields under the umbrella of the Seneca Valley Junior Football Association, is finally ready to stand on its own. A combination of increased participation in the sport, whose origins go back to antiquity, along with leadership changes in the local association, prompted the Lacrosse organization to seek its own operating agreement with Cranberry.
At its October 30 meeting, Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors was asked to explore executing a new agreement with the Lacrosse organization and modifying its current agreement with SVJFA. The Board will consider the agreement and modifications for approval on November 6.
