Seneca Valley Lacrosse, which has played on Township athletic fields under the umbrella of the Seneca Valley Junior Football Association for a number of years, is now ready to stand on its own. A combination of increased participation in the sport, whose origins go back to antiquity, along with leadership changes in the local association, prompted the Lacrosse organization to seek its own operating agreement with Cranberry. At its November 6 meeting, Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors approved a new agreement with the Lacrosse organization and modified its current agreement with SVJFA accordingly.
