An oversize menorah is being installed in front of the Cranberry Township Municipal Center to mark the eight-day observance of Hanukkah, which begins Tuesday, December 16. A festive public lighting of the electrified candelabra, complete with music, entertainment, refreshments and gifts for children, will be held at 6:30 on Wednesday, December 17 – the second night of the Jewish Festival of Lights. All are welcome. The nine-foot tall menorah, along with the gifts, beverages, and traditional Jewish foods, is being provided by the Chabad Fox Chapel Jewish Center and the Cranberry Jewish Community Association. Cranberry will be hosting the event for the second consecutive year.
