Cranberry’s current zoning laws limit businesses that sell, rent or service vehicles to locating on Rt. 19. But there are other non-residential roads in the Township which would also be suitable for companies which deal in motor vehicles as a secondary business, but are not currently eligible to host them. At its April 30 meeting, Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors agreed to consider authorizing an advertisement revising that zoning ordinance at its meeting on May 6. The revision would allow vehicle-related businesses any place other than a residential street that’s connected to a commercial road as long as it secures a permit through the Conditional Use approval process.
